Mission Action Planning

As we prepare our Mission Action Plan, we are asking everyone to consider 3 questions in the next 3 weeks. Please think about them, and pray about them, and if you have any response, please put it in our Thinking Box at the back of the church.

Question 1

What habits and attitudes do we need to let go of and what new habits and attitudes do we need to develop for St Peter's to become the community God wants us to be?

Question 2

How do we, as the community at St Peter's, use our resources (people, buildings, time, energy, faith) in new ways (as well as old) to further God's Kingdom around us?

Ely Cathedral Coach Trip

If anyone is interested in going on a day trip to visit Ely and the Cathedral this June please sign the list at the back of the church . The thought is for mid-week, leaving at 9.00am and returning at 5.00pm. Please state whether you would prefer a week day or Saturday.

Weekly Envelopes 2012

There are quite a few Weekly Envelopes for 2012 still at the back of the church, so if you have not already done so, could you please collect yours as soon as possible. Some of you might have a new number this year, so if you continue to use last year's envelopes your contributions could be credited to the wrong person!! - Many thanks, Gloria.

Church Flowers

The flower rota is now displayed at the back of the church. Anyone wishing to have flowers displayed by the Book of Remembrance, to commemorate a special date is invited to enter their name(s) in the ‘Sponsor Column' and give their donation to the person named in the column marked ‘Arranger'. As The Flower Fund relies on donations towards the costs of flowers, arranged in church, a minimum of £20 is always fully received and appreciated .

Request for Jam Jars

Please can you save your jam jars and drop them into the Church or Chapter House for Hannah's marvellous jam and chutneys.

Epiphany Lunch

This year we are unable to hold this lunch due to a number of diary clashes; the next congregation gathering will be our annual Beetle Drive & Pancakes in the Chapter House, on Shrove Tuesday. (Further details will be in February Network) Please see Cinta after church for your refund!
